Channel 4 - The Home Show

Our metal modular ramp made its television debut, on channel 4 recently. The Home Show saw Architect George Clarke take on his biggest project to date. The Abbeyfield charity has been taking over residential properties and turning them into communal retirement homes since the 1950s. Abbeyfield House in Surrey houses 12 residents and was in need of renovation. Our access team installed ramps to the front entrances of the property, which has given the residents easier access. The Home Show team did an amazing job and the finished result was wonderful.

Contract Award

We are celebrating after Newcastle City Council awarded us the contract for the supply and installation of access ramps to their properties. The contract which runs until 2013 is excellent news for the business and our workforce. We are delighted to have been awarded this contract and to be working with Newcastle City Council.

Small Business Of The Year Award

We are still celebrating after winning the small business of the year award for Tyneside and Northumberland. After a hugely successful 2008, winning this award is great recognition for the whole company's team effort and hard work. Easibathe & Easiaccess have come a long way from their humble beginnings out of a garage in Holystone, Newcastle upon Tyne to the 25,000-sqft site occupied today in Dunston. 16 years on from its inception and employing 53 people, Denise & Martin Cook look back on the organisations’ success and often wonder how they got there! Denise Cook, joint Managing Director with husband Martin, was very proud to collect the award on behalf of the company and believes it’s a true reflection of all the hard work, loyalty and commitment all Easibathe staff have shown to them over the years.
